Who We Are

Effect Hope is the only Canadian Christian global health organization exclusively focused on serving the people affected by Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Together with partners, we deliver programs that address wellness in a holistic way. This includes physical and mental health, social wellbeing, and breaking cycles of poverty. We serve people from all walks of life.

What We Do

We partner with other global health organizations, local governments, and community leaders to prevent diseases and strengthen healthcare systems across Africa and Asia. Together, we provide resources and develop impactful programs, that help people overcome the effects of disease, disability, and discrimination.

Since 1892, we have been coming alongside people affected by Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) like leprosy. We are dedicated to supporting people as they overcome disease, disability, and discrimination.

Working Towards A Leprosy Free Bangladesh

Too many people are living with the devastating consequences of leprosy because they cannot access health care. Together, with our partners and the Government of Bangladesh, we are on a mission to see zero leprosy transmission, zero disability and zero social consequences due to leprosy through stronger, inclusive health systems.
