Over the past several weeks, our community showed up in a powerful way. Through acts of giving, gifting, or sharing — more than a thousand people joined our movement to raise awareness, challenge harmful beliefs, and speak up for those who are too often unheard. The actions so many of you took didn’t just make a difference — they helped spark a movement for dignity, inclusion, and justice. Your involvement also helped fund essential care, education, and early intervention, preventing stigma before it takes root.
We were deeply moved by the compassion and heart so many people demonstrated as they stood with individuals affected by leprosy. Because of this collective care, people are becoming empowered to reclaim the confidence, opportunity, and belonging that stigma once stole from them.
This campaign became one of our most impactful initiatives — a standout effort that generated strong engagement and meaningful conversation. We saw people rethinking assumptions, reshaping perspectives, and speaking out across social media. And the impact didn’t stop online.
Earlier in March, we were proud to sponsor the Outpour Conference in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. This was a one-day gathering that brought together young adults from across Ontario for worship, teaching, and community. Our goal was to share our mission and shine a light on the injustice of stigma with a new generation. What we witnessed was deeply encouraging: a wave of young adults energized by the reality of stigma, eager to learn more, and ready to get involved in creating lasting change.
