John Sean, born April 5th, 1993, has endured the pain of Buruli ulcer, which left him with a swollen, painful foot that eventually burst. Despite trying ointments, his condition worsened, and he had to rely on crutches to move. Tragically, John has lost many friends to the same disease. Through proper treatment and the support of Effect Hope, John not only began his recovery but was also introduced to a peer support group, empowering him to connect with others facing similar struggles.
