We have two programs in Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) that help children and their families:
Every Child Thrives
Preschool children in Kenya struggle to receive the nutrition their bodies need. This struggle is made worse by parasites like hookworms, which deprive the children of the little nutrients they receive. Through the Every Child Thrives program, children receive deworming treatment for these parasites and Vitamin A, giving them the boost they need to grow up healthy.
Buruli Ulcer and Leprosy Integration
The primary income source for many people in Côte d’Ivoire is farming. Having a disability, especially as a result of a disease, can devastate and prevent individuals and their families from thriving. Our Integrated NTD program aims to address leprosy and Buruli ulcer, two diseases which can lead to disabilities, in two rural health districts.
