What Does This Recognition Mean?
Inclusion in Charity Intelligence’s Top 10 Impact Charities lists is based on the amount of demonstrated impact that charities have had on their clients and society in the past year. Charity Intelligence uses its demonstrated Social Return on Investment (dSROI) framework to assess and measure the impact of charitable organizations. This year, Charity Intelligence has published eight different lists of Top Impact Charities, including the overall Top 10 and sub-category lists based on specific sectors or impact areas.

Charity Intelligence’s selection process evaluates charities based on their demonstrated impact—specifically, the value created per dollar spent in terms of social, economic, and environmental benefits. By using dSROI, they determine how much positive change is generated by the charity’s work in relation to its financial resources.
