Effect Hope is gearing up to Influence Global NTD Strategies at upcoming NNN Global Conference. ___________________________________________________________________________________
The 2025 Neglected Tropical Disease NGO Network (NNN) Conference in Uganda will bring together technical experts, global leaders, people affected and organizations from over 50 countries to discuss the challenges and solutions related to the elimination of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). Effect Hope will be there, leading discussions, sharing ideas, strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, and turning collaboration into action.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Sustainable Innovations for Impact – Transforming the Fight Against NTDs,” highlighting the urgent need for innovation in light of a shifting funding landscape in global health.
Together with our partners in the TRANSFORM and UPLIFT programs, Effect Hope will lead two workshops that spotlight:
- Evidence-based models for integrating NTD care into national health systems.
- Community-driven advocacy frameworks that elevate lived experience and promote inclusive, sustainable responses.
These sessions will foster collaboration, share practical strategies, and amplify voices from the ground up ensuring that NTD efforts are aligned with broader health goals and community priorities.
The NNN is a dynamic collective of researchers, advocates, health workers, and individuals affected by NTDs, united in their mission to end the cycle of neglect. Each year, the conference serves as a catalyst for progress, and we look forward to the exchange of insights and partnerships that will emerge during and after the event.
