Challenge
Most NTD research in Bangladesh has been led by outsiders. While helpful, it doesn’t always reflect the real-world challenges faced by patients or align with local health policies. Without homegrown research, real change in policy and care delivery is limited.
Solution
SCORE builds local research capacity so that Bangladeshi experts can lead studies that matter—and directly influence national leprosy strategies.
