On September 9, Effect Hope, on behalf of the UPLIFT consortium, will co-host a webinar with iCHORDS on the findings from UPLIFT, a three-year research study conducted across India, Bangladesh, and Ethiopia.
Co-hosted by Effect Hope, on behalf of the UPLIFT consortium, and iCHORDS, this webinar on September 9 will explore what makes Community-Based Groups (CBGs) sustainable and effective in supporting people affected by skin-related neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).
Drawing on findings from a three-year UPLIFT study conducted in India, Bangladesh, and Ethiopia, participants will learn how community-based approaches can help reduce stigma, improve well-being, and foster greater social inclusion for people affected by leprosy and other skin-related NTDs.
Attendees will also be introduced to new practical resources and hear perspectives from researchers, implementing partners, and people with lived experience of NTDs.
